If you are interested in hearing the skeptical side of the info from those History channel shows, try this out. Only improvements would be making the search tool permanently visible and offer the ability for micro payments directly in the app. Both of these are pretty minor issues, however.

I’ve only recently discovered Skeptoid. I paid for the app to have all the episodes available in one place rather than using a podcast app. Dunning makes reasoned, convincing arguments and dispels a lot popular myths. It’s a great insight into skeptical or scientific thinking. The app can be better. I’d like to read the title of the episodes. Currently you see something like: “”Skeptoid #417: The Riddle o…”. Well, I know it’s Skeptoid and I don’t care much about the episode number. The Riddle of what? A readable list of titles will help a lot! Include micro payments within the app. Include the transcript. Include categories (topics) so, for example, you could listen to all the episodes within the “Fad" category. Utilize the playback screen space better. The top 1/3 of the screen is the buttons for playback and navigating an episode, so they’re too small! Usually I listen while driving, so how about bigger buttons that are driving-friendly?

A first class podcast. Youll enjoy this.

I love Brian Dunning. He always has great topics. Hes clear and to the point. He has been the number two inspiration for my new skeptic & critical thinking YouTube channel. Carl Sagan being number one, of course. My first videos sucked, so I binge listened to Skeptoid to get an idea of how to be more clear and consistent. Im just getting started & still learning, and although my channel has quite a different flavor than Skeptoid, I think of Brian Dunning as my great teacher Ive never met. Of course I LOVE James Randi, Michael Shermer & the other fantastic skeptics out there. They all are extremely important. But Brian is far too underrated, and has a magical knack for introducing information in bite sized & easy to digest portions in a way nobody else does.

Astounding site for well researched topics. Dispels the popular but false myths. Good to get unbiased facts.
